Earlier this month the Audi company posted a tweet that got many U.S. Audi Avant enthusiasts excited for the undecided future. The tweet showcased a picture of "Avants in the U.S." surrounded by candles with the phrase "summoning circle, hope this works". Now, we know that one vague tweet about the Audi Avant wagons isn't a definite answer, but it's better than a hard no. In fact, we still have lingering hope from when Filip Brabec, the vice president of Audi of America's product management team, told us a year ago that "We always look at potential new opportunities in the market. It's a niche to explore."

For many the news of Audi wagons reappearing is exciting. Drivers in the U.S. who have been utilizing alternative sporty, yet stylish sedans and hatchbacks, such as the gorgeous Audi A4 Allroad and the Audi RS 5 Sportback, are ready to have their spacious, powerful, and stunning Audi wagons back in the U.S. market. An Audi spokeswoman perhaps represented U.S. drivers best when she said, "We know we have a lot of Audi fans who are also Avant-fans, and we do hope that we could bring Avants back to the U.S. at some point in the future." When that "future" may be? We aren't sure, but we will definitely be looking forward to it!
